Process for reporting:
Animal services, as a courtesy, will visit the source of the nuisance pet. If a courtesy visit does not help, then a formal citation can be issued. The complaint must come in writing with documentation of times and durations of nuisance behavior, to demonstrate that their is a recordable issue. The complaint should also include, but isn't required, witnesses.
The staff in the Abilene office was very helpful with nuisance dog issues.
